| This spot is located: Zanzibar, Unguja Island (main island).
Chwaka Bay, Michamvi.
Located on the east side of the island.

| How to get to this spot: Coming form Stonetown (airport connected to Nairobi / port connected to Dar Es Salaam), easy to drive on a good tarmac road, to the east coast. The fisher village is Chwaka, where you should ask for a small boat to go to Michamvi (45 mn). The magic is to arrive by the sea and discover this peaceful and virgin place.
If you can arrive by earth, it's is not a good idea : first the road from Chwaka to the Michanvo Cape are quiet inexistant, that means you should take a different and longer way from Stonetown), Second, toy should discover the place by the sea, it s amazing and can offer dreamy shots during the sail. |
| Access to this spot is: Easy, just hire a boat with fishermen at the village, and respect this nice place and nice people.
Please, do not invade this place, just go with a very very small shooting team, to preserve the magic of the place.
